And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground-trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. – Genesis 2:9
It is interesting that the two trees were located in the middle of the garden. The implication is that Adam and Eve had to walk by them often. The choice of whether to follow God’s ways or our own ways are rarely on the outskirts of our activities – they stand in the middle of our daily lives. In many ways, our walk with God is based upon the decision that is in front of us. What are you deciding today?
