Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

As a pastor, I am shocked by how many major decisions are made by people who don’t seek outside counsel. God created us to live in community, and to think that we have all of the perspectives we need without others is a Biblical definition of foolishness. When we allow others to advise us, we can come into insights that we would never see. This is why successful people are those who include others into the major moments of their lives.
