One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.

– Romans 14:5-6 (NIV)

What would happen if we viewed other expressions of the Body of Christ in the light of this passage? Some people may prefer the structure of liturgy, while others like to hang out in an informal fashion. Some people are moved by intellectual preaching, while others lift their hands and sing praises with all of their heart. The main point is that for all of these expressions, there is a desire to glorify God. So let’s bless brothers and sisters who express their love for Jesus in different ways, and rejoice in the diversity that is among God’s people.
