Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.

– Psalm 115:1 (NIV)

What would the church look like if we cared most about the fame of God? Are we able to turn away from the temptation of being popular? Humility stands out in a culture of self-promotion; our world is in desperate need of those who are able to bypass the temptation to be famous for the role of a humble servant of God. What we forsake on earth becomes a crown in heaven—God’s love and faithfulness assures us of that.
