Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and followed the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left.

– 2 Chronicles 34:1-2 (NIV)

The Bible is filled with stories of young people passionately pursuing God. In fact, many of the main figures in the Bible were used of God in their younger years. King David was a teenager when he defeated Goliath. The prophet Daniel stood out for God as a youth. Mary was around thirteen when the angel of the Lord visited her. If you are young, don’t disqualify yourself due to your age, and if you are not so young, don’t miss what God is doing in the next generation.
