I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

– Galatians 2:20 (NIV)

There is a death process when we come to Christ. It doesn’t matter if you are a young Christian or an experienced saint, to let go of our agendas and embrace what Christ says is uncomfortable for all of us. Yet when we remember that God loves us and gave Himself for us, we can be assured that a life based upon faith in God today is far better than any life that we try to manufacture for ourselves.
