He was going down the street near her corner, walking along in the direction of her house at twilight, as the day was fading, as the dark of night set in. – Proverbs 7:8-9 (NIV)

In this explicit proverb, Solomon is explaining how an adulterous woman seduces a young man. Notice that he just “happens” to be walking in the direction of her house at twilight. His justifications for being there have destructive results. Lust is such a strong force that the battle is hard to fight when passions are ignited. It is the preemptive actions where the battle is won. Seduction needs the right scenario, and the Scripture shouts to us to not be na├»ve about being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
