“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. – Matthew 5:17 (NIV)

Many followers of Christ don’t see the relevance of the Old Testament. Yet Jesus said that He was not here to abolish the Laws of Moses or the Prophets of old but fulfill them. The implication is that the Old Testament is all about the life and work of Jesus. When we see this, we can explore what Christ fulfilled in the Tabernacle of Moses. With this viewpoint, the stories of David or Solomon take a different meaning. The Old Testament comes alive when it is properly seen in the light of Jesus Christ.
