But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

– Luke 5:16 (NIV)

If this is the pattern of Jesus, how much more should this be a pattern in our lives. Are you able to find a lonely place to pray? Suzanna Wesley had ten children in a small home. Her only lonely place to pray was to throw her apron over her head. Her children knew that when she did this, she was before the throne of God. Her sons, Charles and John Wesley changed the world with the gospel. What could happen if we found a lonely place to pray?
