Every great revival on the earth has been marked with prayer. History records people gathering to pray for God to move in their nation or city with great results. May God pour upon us a spirit of grace and supplication as we grieve over the difference between the victory that Jesus achieved on the cross and the realities of our neighborhood. Things are not the way they should be, but we have the privilege to pray, “Thy will be done, Thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.” If God wants to restore His earth toward godliness, are we willing to ask Him for that?
