The story of creation in Genesis is one of establishing boundaries. God separates light from dark, water from ground, heaven from earth, woman from man. The Bible tells us that boundaries are a good thing. They keep us from overreaching our limits to our own hurt. Yet our quest to set up our own boundaries has been with us since the Fall of Adam and Eve. One of the greatest challenges for humanity has been to acknowledge that God’s boundaries are not a hindrance; they are good.
